GERMAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

June 30 - July 2,  2017

Three days full program for Concert bands, Show and Marching bands with Judging, or without Judging, Fun and a big fireworks.

The Rasteder Music Days are the largest and oldest music festival in Germany. Each year, approximately 60 bands from around 8-10 countries come with about 3000 musicians to Rastede. 

Marching bands from 28 nations have already visited Rastede.

News Flash

2015 WAMSB Sanctioned International Open Competition & European Open Championships in in Rastede Germany are going very well.

There are 63 bands entered for a total of 3,200 participants coming from 10 nations. For the first time Colombia and Brazil will be participating.  Thailand will be participating for the third time.

The participating bands consist of Show Bands, Drum corps, Parade Bands, Drum Bands, Drum & Fife bands, & concert bands.

There will be a total 17 jury members judging the different sections of the competitions and that will consist of 98 appearances that are viewed by 8000 spectators.

The competitions consist of: marching shows, marching parade, and marching & stand parade.

Show qualifications are held Saturday and the finals take place Sunday.

The event will conclude with the largest music fireworks display in Northwestern Germany.

Every year Das jährlich im Juli stattfindende Musikfest hat lange Tradition und ist nicht nur aus dem Grund weit über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannt.

Über 3000 Musiker aus aller Welt treffen sich jährlich zum Wettstreit in Rastede. In den letzten Jahren begrüßte man auch Gäste aus Thailand und Australien.

Auch in diesem Jahr sind die Erwartungen wieder hoch. Durch Kooperationen mit verschiedenen Musikvereinigungen wird Rastede zum Austragungsort für Top-Corps.

Besucher finden hier alle Informieren zum Programm, Teilnehmer finden alle Informationen von der Einladung über die Anmeldung bis zu Anreiseinformationen.

The 24th FANFARONADE of the Märkischen TurnerBundes (MTB) was successfully held June 14, 2014 in the city of Brandenburg Germany at the Havel Stadium.

The Annual Fanfaronade is an official qualifying round the WAMSB World Championships for Marching Show Bands

24 clubs from 7 German Federal States have designed a gala music experience at the Stadium consisting of more than 800 musicians.
